Urkel is a mild computer worm, discovered around the year 2000 that infects floppy disks. Users generally do not know they have booted up an infected diskette, as it either shows a normal boot process when the disk is run or a non-system disk error. The virus takes up 1K of memory and is very detectable after it has infected the system, as only thing it does is display "URKEL" on the screen every hour.
