ESET NOD32 Antivirus, commonly known as NOD32, is an antivirus program who is developed by the company called "ESET". The name of the program comes from a god with the same name who was believed to be a magic healer from ancient Egypt. This antivirus has eleven versions and was first created in 1992, the last version (Eleven) was first released in 2017, and the last update in 2018. The company is now 30 years old.

This security solution has malware, ransomware and PUP protection, obviously the others edition of ESET has more features like ESET Internet Security. The ESET company has gained 100 VB100 awards and is the only antivirus software to have gained that amount of awards. This software is a type of "Paid AV" that means, if users want real-time protection they need to pay a license.

Actually NOD32 includes some tools, like, ESET SysRescue Live, who cleans the system from malware, ESET SysInspector, who register information from the system to compare, and System Cleanup, who cleans the system from useless data.
